No other GPS tracker on the market can compare to the Yabby3. On average, our customers experience 4-6 months of battery life with 15-minute update intervals. Please note that battery life may vary based on usage and cellular signal strength. Depending on how often you need the location of your livestock guardian dog, this value can be changed. The more frequent the location updates, the less the battery life.
The default setting for your device will be to transmit location data every 15 minutes. Under optimal conditions, the battery will last about 3 months. (Please be aware that battery life may be impacted if the cellular signal is weak in your area.) (See details below)

Ready to track right out of the box
Your tracking device is shipped ready-to-use. We also offer a collar that is designed specifically for our LGD tracking device. That way, you can immediately begin tracking as soon as your package is received.
Our package includes a rugged collar, but you can simply remove the tracker if you would prefer to use your own collar.
View historical data
Our system records location data and stores it for as long as you are a customer. That way, you can always go back and review where your dogs traveled. This gives you the ability to see “hot spots” and show you possible fence-down situations.
5G cellular technology
Our LGD trackers utilize 5G CatM1 cellular technology, ensuring reliable communication through cell towers. However, keep in mind that coverage depends on the availability of cell towers in your area.
We understand concerns about coverage. To provide peace of mind, we offer a 30-day return policy. This allows you an entire month to test the tracker in your area.

Your tracking device will be shipped ready to use. Our device uses AT&T and TMobile cell towers to communicate. If you need Verizon, please leave a comment in the checkout stating this.
Battery life depends on many factors, but the biggest factor is the strength of the cell network in your area. If cell signals are good, then you can expect to see about 3 months of battery life. However, if the cell signal is poor, then the device may only operate for a few weeks.
